The great Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791), inspired to action by the upcoming Opera Orlando production of his “Don Giovanni”, visits “The City Beautiful” to discuss the creative process that led to the composition of his greatest opera. Opera Orlando’s Studio Artists will be on hand to assist the Austrian mastermind in his conversation. Free and open to the public

Opera Orlando teams up with Hi-End Audio electronics manufacturer Dynamic Sounds Association to survey the golden age of opera on record (that’s on 33⅓ Lp vinyl!) Don Giovanni receives special attention. Free and open to the public

Bush as “A Point of Light”  for her work in domestic violence and reproductive health, Cathy Robinson Pickett is a nationally and internationally recognized motivational speaker and health educator. Opera Orlando’s choice to set Mozart’s Don Giovanni on a modern day college campus has inspired her to lead a conversation reflecting on the legacy of sexual abuse and violence in the Western world- past and present. Soprano Katerina Phillips will contribute relevant music. Free and open to the public
