SUMMER OPERA INSTITUTE
This is an intensive 10-day program for singers high school age and up who are pursuing a music education or performance career. The program includes voice lessons, master classes, private coaching, diction study, acting and movement classes, and a final concert on Sunday, June 23.
Dates: June 14-23, 2019
Location: Performing Arts Center – Music, Rehearsal Hall, and Visual Arts Building Auditorium at UCF.
Students will participate in
Voice lessons
Stage movement and improvisation classes
Music coaching
Diction for singers classes
The business of singing and marketing classes
Audition skills and performance classes
Alexander Technique sessions
Opera awareness and appreciation classes
Master classes with guest clinicians
Final concert (Free and open to the public.)
