Gian Carlo Menotti’s charming and inspirational story inspired by the journey of the Three Kings is officially an Opera Orlando Holiday Tradition. 

An all new visually spectacularly production designed by Grant Preisser and co-directed by Cara Pfost and Grant Preisser. It is led by Opera Orlando’s Music Director Robin Jensen as the Orlando Ballet provides the dance and live music by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. 

A perfect holiday treat for the entire family, Amahl and the Night Visitors tells the story of a young and precocious crippled shepherd boy whose life changes forever when he sees an amazing star “as big as a window.” Three kings from afar - who are following the star in search of a wondrous child - encounter Amahl and his mother and the result is both humorous and inspiring delivering a message of how unselfish love can work miracles. Presented in its original English
