A Boisterous Rebirth for Opera in Orlando!!

Join us for a raucous night of comedy old and new with this pairing of Mozart and Poulenc. Our opera stars are supported by members of the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and joined by Opera Orlando's Children's Chorus, all led by guest conductor Michael Sakir.  Our savvy Director in Residence Eric Pinder will serve doubly as stage director and script adapter bringing these two comedies to life.

It's a celebration of the lighter side of the art form as the newly minted Opera Orlando brings a boisterous birth to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

Susan Neves in Concert: MARIA CALLAS CLASSICS

International soprano sensation Susan Neves presents a one of a kind program dedicated to "La Divina" Maria Callas accompanied by Robin Jensen.  This concert will feature several arias that defined Callas's career from Rossini to Puccini.  Following the concert Ms Neves will give her own masterclass with students from Rollins and Stetson.  Students with proper ID will be given free admission the day of the concert to both the recital and masterclass.  Ms. Neves can later be seen as Maria Callas in Opera Orlando's production of Terrence McNally's Master Class
