Opera Orlando launches its 10th Anniversary Season in song this August with its annual Opera Orlando in Concert: Summer Concert Series at the University Club of Winter Park. Enjoy a fun and diverse selection of songs, arias, and duets, as well as wine, appetizers, and desserts during a post-show reception with artists featured throughout the Opera’s upcoming season.

Chinese-American soprano Bizhou Chang is quickly becoming known for her warmth of tone and thrilling interpretations of opera’s most beloved roles from Pamina to Fiordiligi Ms. Chang performed recently performed the role of Mimì in La bohème with Pensacola Opera and made her company debuts as Liù in Turandot with Opera Southwest and Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro with Knoxville Opera. She can be heard on the MainStage with Opera Orlando this season as Mimì once again.

For this concert only, there will be a special season preview presentation of the Company’s 10th Anniversary Season by Opera Orlando’s general director Gabriel Preisser and artistic director Grant Preisser.

The Three Baritones are back!! The dynamic trio of Nathan Stark, Brian James Myer, and Gabriel Preisser are back with new serenades, new hijinks, and hopefully some new jokes for a special reunion concert. All three have been featured in past Opera Orlando productions and events including La Bohème in 2017 and The Barber of Seville at Casa Feliz in 2018. This season, all three can be seen in Orlando premiere of the Pulitzer Prize winning opera Silent Night on the MainStage.

Hailing from Topeka, Kansas, tenor Brendan Boyle is quickly gaining attention for his combination of heroic sound and imposing stage presence. Boyle's repertoire spans a diverse range of roles, from the romantic Rodolfo in Puccini's La Bohème to the commanding Father in Ragtime, garnering acclaim for his ability to embody characters with depth and authenticity.  He recently made his debut with Wichita Opera in the role of the Prince in Dvořák's Rusalka and he returned to Toledo Opera to sing the role of Cavaradossi in Puccini's Tosca. This season with Opera Orlando, he will take on the lead tenor role in Silent Night, Nikolaus Sprink.

Robin Andrew Stamper is no stranger to the Summer Concert Series, having last performed in the 2023-24 season series with soprano Marnie Breckenridge. He is currently the artistic/managing director and chorus master for Opera Tampa and continues a versatile career as a coach-accompanist, chorus master, and opera conductor. He will accompany all three concerts this season.
