Internships

If you are a college student or even a high school student, an internship at Opera Orlando may be a happy fit for you. Interns at Opera Orlando will extend learning beyond the classroom and gain career experience. Everything you do will help you realize your potential. Opera Orlando has an exciting season ahead with lots of musical and artistic collaborations. The performance art scene is young, growing, and innovative, and we need your help.

Office Intern

Start/End Dates: Openings Year-Round

Description: Working hand-in-hand with the Opera Orlando team, the Office Intern will be integrated in the day-to-day activities of Opera Orlando and help with both short-term and long-term projects.
Operations: Assisting with data entry, research, and special events.
Qualifications: Enrolled in College or High School Senior

Production Intern

Start/End Dates: Openings Year-Round

Description: Working hand-in-hand with the Opera Orlando production team, the production intern will be integrated in the day-to-day activities of production planning and help produce concerts, special events, and fully staged productions. Each production intern will have the opportunity to work on and complete at least two events during their internship.
Operations: Assist with production planning, attend rehearsals, assist the production manager, work on sets and props, and work backstage at events and shows.
Qualifications: Theater Background
