Internships @ Opera Orlando

For fans of music, opera, theatre, and cultural arts: are you interested in gaining real-world research and grant experience?  Are you an ace when it comes to data mining, social media, and/or technical writing?  Do you care about music and performance art and want to be part of the Orlando cultural arts scene?

If you are a college student or even a high school student, an internship at Opera Orlando may be a happy fit for you. Interns at Opera Orlando have the opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom and gain career experience. Everything you do will help you realize potential! Opera Orlando has an exciting season ahead with lots of musical and artistic collaborations; the performance art scene is young, growing, and innovative, and help is needed.

Here are some ways you can get involved as an Intern:

·       Social Media - Assistant Crowd Funding Content Producer

·       Volunteer Research Lead

·       Research & Development Specialist

·       Fundraising and Data Management

·       Production: Assistant Stage Manager, Props, etc.

Opera Orlando is the region's leading opera company. The good news is that internship days and hours are flexible (15 hours per week). The not-so-good news is that interns are not paid a wage--sorry! We work with a shoestring budget. That said, we feel strongly that our interns gain unique experiences, enhance their career opportunities, expand their view of the world, and find inspiration!
